The pick-up is available from our Warehouse Showroom in Grayslake Illinois – by appointment only. 
If you want us to ship the bike, we charge $120 (US Continent only) but all the liabilities are waived. If we ship bikes some assembly is required due to size of the equipment and shipping box. In most cases, wheels have to be put on and pedals.

It is common for bikes to have minor scuffs and fine scratches from regular use, unless otherwise noted. These imperfections are usually expected and do not affect the overall functionality or performance of the bike.This is a Peugeot Record du monde road bike, with a large frame and frame length of 22.5″, 57 centimeters, 10 speed, Rigida 27×1 1/4 rims, and is completely made of steel.
Peugeot was one of those early bicycle manufacturers which grew big and successful during the 20th century. Their first bike was already built around 1882 but their reputation grew mainly due to their racing activities from 1903 until 1983.

During this time they managed to win the Tour de France 10 times and several Championships, Classics and one-day races. Who has not seen the pictures of Tom Simpson and Eddy Merckx, winning the World Championships in 1965 and 1967 on a Peugeot?

This Peugeot dates back to the early 1980s and its frame has been made of double-butted steel tubing. It is fitted with some really great parts, such as the SACHS HURET derailleurs and Rigida Rims.
